PhotoSailing is the dedicated website for sailing photos.
Whether it is beautiful classic sailing yachts built or restored from a bygone era displaying exquisite craftsmanship, design and photogenic qualities; Ultra high performance state of the art yachts driving through big seas in fast action; or wonderful dinghies competing in close fought competitive races – they are available here as stunning prints to decorate your home or office wall.
Panoramic prints, the magnificent J Class yachts, and atmospheric seascape galleries are shown, together with a selection of the latest sailing events that the photographer, Ian Badley has photographed. These quality prints, available in colour, black and white or sepia monochrome are available as traditional photographic prints or in a contemporary, borderless style ready to hang. Posters, Fine Art and Limited editions make up the portfolio or works available. There are even Greeting cards to be purchased singularly if required with Picture Books and Calendars also offered soon.
The pictures have been taken in the Solent with its sea colour mix of emerald and viridian around the Isle of Wight famous for the iconic Needles Lighthouse; the open waters of Carrick Roads on the Cornish Coast of England off Falmouth; around the stunning Kyle's and islands of Scotland's west coast; the deep blue of the Mediterranean sea; and the quintessentially Caribbean island of Antigua, providing wonderful backdrops to these sail boats.
The photographic prints shown here are a small selection of the thousands taken, and represent a prestige portrayal of sailing.
PhotoSailing is one of the specialist websites of professional photographer Ian Badley. Ian is based in the New Forest, England only a few miles from the yachting home of the Solent, where the inaugural America’s Cup forerunner took place in 1851.
Ian’s fabulous sailing pictures are taken at regattas held in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and around the British Isles predominantly along the south coast of England.
As well as prints for home display he works closely with businesses and corporate organisations as far afield as Australia to produce images for their own publications and adverts. In addition, his work is used to liven up office space and public areas. Currently you will see some of his yachting pictures displayed over 20 feet wide at Southampton International Airport!
Ian produces work for the yachting press with many images featured in the prestige Yachting World magazine from both home and foreign shores. National newspapers, publishers and interior designers also use his pictures on a regular basis.
These pictures are unique.
We hope you enjoy looking at them.
